i constantly hear that people play way too many hands. and i see pros often fold with k6s and a5s.
I usually will play these hands if im playing with people not as good as me. however i wondered if there was a chart online showing what hands to play and the odds of making different hands based on number of outs. thanks guys!

Here is what I did. After reading Winning low limits by Lee Jones, I made a list of starting hands. It starts out with Early, middle and late position. It gets into if there is a raise in front and how many callers in front, mainly for middle pos). I then made a spreadsheet on outs vs money in the pot (pot odds).

the reason they fold hands like a5 suited or kx suited is becuase those hands are meant to be played in multi way pots and most of the games they are aggressive and tight ( not a lot of players in the pot w/ lots of raising)

That's because K6 or A5 can turn into nothing very easily. It's nice to have a high card in hand, but the other card as a kicker is pretty low so a lot don't like to play it.

Later on in the game, perhaps - you maybe make a pair or similar and have a high card kicker, then it can be worth more because people bet with less.

Early on though, I would drop those unless I was on BB, or maybe SB. There is a triangular grid that covers starting hands, just google it and you should come across it.

K6 and K5, whilst not the worst hands, are very far from being the best. Sure, some days you'll flop KK5, another you will flop nothing, so you must be aware of that.

In general, I will see the flop with the likes of A5, K6 etc, but if nothing comes out on the flop I will fold no question. It's about seeing what the situation requires, some nights you will be able to see flops real cheaply, and hands like that can turn into gold with a bit of luck. Just be prepared to drop them if the going gets too hot.
